Welcome to Olita Elementary School's web site.
Olita School is located on 950 S. Briercliff in La Habra, California, and is one of five elementary schools in Lowell Joint School District. We are committed to providing excellence in education and strong character building to our students.
Academically, Olita School, with the Lowell Joint School District, has ranked in the top 10% of the state in the STAR standardized test. I am proud to say that Olita's staff is dedicated to providing an instructional program of the highest quality using the State and District Standards as a guideline.
There are two Learning Centers on campus; one class is for grades K-2 and the other is for students in grades 3-6. There are 23 certificated staff members.
Olita School has a tremendous parent volunteer program and active participation in PTA. Monthly PTA meetings are held at 7:00 on the third Tuesday of the month.

Facilities Needs Assessment Meeting for Parents and Community Members The District is in the process of developing a Facilities Needs Assessment Plan for all of the school sites. This assessment will become part of the District's Master Facility Plan. There will be an opportunity for parents to meet and discuss what plans may be considered for Olita Elementary School on Tuesday, May 15, at 6:30 p.m. in the Multi-use Room. |

Lue Janson Selected as District Classified Employee of the Year The Lowell Joint School District is pleased to announce that Lue Janson has been selected as the District’s 2012 Classified School Employee of the Year. Mrs. Janson serves as a Special Education Instructional Aide in the upper-grade Special Day Class at Olita Elementary School. |
